Rural Electric Youth Tour Guidelines
- Entrants must be a junior or senior in the fall of 2010.
- Entrant and/or parent or guardian must be served by Northern Plains Electric Cooperative.
- Entrant must write an essay on this topic: "Touchstone Energy cooperatives have launched the "Together We Save" campaign to promote energy efficiency and conservation nationwide. Why do you think energy efficiency and conservation are important priorities for electric cooperatives and their members?" (Essay must not exceed two standard 8.5 X 11-inch typewritten double-spaced pages in length and must have a cover page displaying the entrant’s name, date of birth, school and grade, parent and/or guardian’s name, address and telephone number.)
- Essay must arrive at Northern Plains Electric Cooperative no later than Wednesday, January 6, 2010. Emailed entries should be directed to: tamia@nplains.com; hard copies should be mailed to: Northern Plains Electric Cooperative, P.O. Box 180, Carrington, N.D. 58421.
