
Q: What sections of the application form should I fill out?
Fill out the yellow areas on the application form that apply to the rebates you are requesting. Required fields are: the ‘size of the unit’ and the ‘efficiency rating or energy factor’ of the new unit. Fill out the fields relating to the old equipment to the best of your ability. Estimate if you need to.
Q: How ill I know if my purchases are eligible for a rebate?
To be eligible, equipment must meet one of the ‘Qualifying Criteria’ listed on the left side of the application form. Please submit a copy of your original receipt and documentation showing efficiency information. For motors, documentation must include nameplate data. Copies of receipts will not be returned.
Q: What are all those acronyms on the application form?
COP stands for Coefficient of Performance.
EER stands for Energy Efficiency Rating.
SEER stands for Seasonal Energy Efficiency Rating.
HSPF stands for Heating Seasonal Performance Factor.
NEMA stands for National Electrical Manufacturers Association.
